GTFS to city posters

Public transport schedules, drawn as city posters.

Cityliner maps route frequency from GTFS feeds. Thick, bright lines show where vehicles run most often.

How It Works

The poster is data-driven. The visual style comes after the network is measured.

01

Read GTFS

Cityliner loads routes, shapes, trips, and schedules from a public transport feed.

02

Measure service

It counts how often route segments are used within the selected area.

03

Draw the poster

It exports a high-resolution PDF with route colors, water, borders, and optional logos.

Your city

Want to see your city?

Request a city on GitHub. Include its name and a public GTFS feed if you have one. Requests help decide which cities to add next.

Public engine. Private production.

The code is public. Raw feeds, processed data, print masters, customer files, and commercial workflow stay private. Commercial posters use logo-free layouts unless logo rights are confirmed.
